New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- India today slammed China over the latter's comments on Arunachal Pradesh after an Indian citizen from the northeastern Indian state was detained in Shanghai, stating firmly that no amount of denial by Beijing can change the indisputable reality of Arunachal Pradesh being an inalienable part of India.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, in a late evening statement, also said that India has taken up very strongly with the Chinese side on the issue of the detention of the Indian citizen who hails from Arunachal Pradesh in Shanghai.
