New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- A programme was held at the Delhi Secretariat to celebrate the Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. The event was organised by the Tourism department.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with Cabinet Ministers of the Delhi Government, extended greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram and to the nation on the occasion.

Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram attained statehood on February 20, 1987, becoming the 24th and 23rd states of India, respectively.

Addressing the gathering, CM Gupta said the celebration reflects Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat".
