Itanagar, March 14 -- In a swift and coordinated operation, Arunachal Pradesh's Papu Hills Police successfully rescued and reunited three missing minor girls from Duliajan in Assam's Dibrugarh district with their families, a senior police officer said on Friday.
The girls, aged between 14 and 15, had boarded a train intending to reach Tinsukia but inadvertently arrived at Naharlagun Railway Station on Wednesday last, Naharlagun SP Mihin Gambo said.
Upon being found, the minors were immediately provided medical care and placed in a safe environment at Oju Shelter Home, Naharlagun. With the proactive support of Duliajan Police, their parents were traced, and the girls were formally handed over to their families at Papu Hills Police Station ...
