Itanagar, July 26 -- Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein joined the nation in solemnly commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas, honouring the unparalleled courage and sacrifice of India's armed forces during the 1999 Kargil War.

Currently on a tour to the Union Territory of Ladakh, Chief Minister Khandu laid a wreath at the Kargil War Memorial in Drass, paying a silent tribute to the bravehearts who laid down their lives defending the nation.
