Itanagar, Aug. 7 -- In a landmark initiative to preserve tribal heritage and empower indigenous artisans, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh today launched the Handloom & Handicrafts Policy 2025 during the 11th National Handloom Day celebrations at Amik Rinya Hall, Tezu, in Lohit district.

Organized by the Department of Textile & Handicrafts, GoAP, in collaboration with the Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the event brought together policymakers, artisans, and community leaders in a collective celebration of traditional crafts.
