Itanagar, May 19 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik honoured Dr Krishna Chowlu, Scientist in-charge at the Botanical Survey of India (BSI)'s Arunachal Pradesh Regional Centre, Itanagar, with the prestigious 'Land of the Rising Sun' plaque in a ceremony held at Raj Bhavan here on Monday.
The award recognizes her unwavering dedication to exploring and documenting the State's unique orchid species.
