Itanagar, Jan. 11 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has, on the eve of National Youth Day, extended his warm greetings to the youth of the State and urged them to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
In his message, the Governor said that the day, observed to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, is a reminder of the vital role of young people in nation-building. He described Swami Vivekananda as a visionary who believed firmly in the strength, character, and moral courage of the youth, and whose ideals of universal brotherhood and service to humanity continue to guide society.
