Itanagar, Feb. 17 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has extended his warm greetings to the people of the state, especially to the Buddhist community, on the eve of Losar.
The Buddhists celebrate the sacred festival with deep faith and happiness. He offered his prayers that the 'Year of the Fire Horse' usher in renewed vitality, positive energy, and meaningful spiritual growth for all.
The Governor stated that Losar marks the beginning of the Buddhist New Year and signifies a time of renewal, hope, and prosperity. The festival, he said, offers an opportunity to honour cherished traditions, strengthen the bonds of unity, and move forward with optimism towards a future of peace and progress.
