Itanagar, March 27 -- Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik on Friday urged citizens across the state to actively participate in the global observance of Earth Hour by switching off all non-essential lights for one hour-from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, on Saturday.

Marking 20 years of the global campaign, the Governor called upon the people to contribute to what is being termed "The Biggest Hour for Earth," highlighting the importance of collective action in addressing pressing environmental challenges.
