Itanagar, June 3 -- In light of the widespread damages caused by incessant rains across Arunachal Pradesh, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting with key officials to assess the situation and coordinate disaster response efforts.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, Disaster Management, Dani Salu, Advisor (Hydropower) Ninong Ering, and Commissioner to the Chief Minister, Sonam Chombay.
The meeting took stock of the damages reported across several districts, including the loss of lives and destruction of critical infrastructure due to landslides and flash floods triggered by relentless rainfall in recent days.
