Itanagar, March 2 -- Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Monday underscored the need for collective responsibility and close collaboration between government departments and community-based organisations (CBOs) to ensure holistic and inclusive development in the state.
He was addressing a pre-Budget consultative meeting with CBOs for the ensuing State Budget 2026-27 at the Civil Secretariat here on Monday.
In his address, Mein asserted that the pre-budget consultation was "not a routine formality but a sincere effort to listen to the voices of the people" before finalising the annual State Budget. He said the exercise forms part of the government's commitment to inclusive and participatory planning.
