Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 1 -- India pacer Arshdeep Singh was named Impact Player of the Series following the conclusion of the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released a behind-the-scenes dressing-room video on Sunday.

In the video shared on BCCI TV, training assistant Udeneka Newan announced Arshdeep Singh as the recipient of the medal, praising the left-arm pacer for his consistent impact throughout the series.

"First of all, thank you very much for giving me this opportunity to give this prestigious medal. The medal goes to someone who put a big impact in every game he played. And the medal goes to Mr. Arshdeep Singh," Newan said while presenting the award.
