Hyderabad, Dec. 24 -- : Highlighting that nearly 10 lakh employees are working in government departments and affiliated wings on regular, contract, and outsourcing bases, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed the officials to submit complete employee details by January 26. Chairing a more-than-three-hour-long meeting with Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, and senior officials at the Secretariat, the Chief Minister ordered that all government offices functioning from rented buildings must shift to their own buildings by January 26.
Where buildings are unavailable, departments have been asked to identify vacant government land and prepare construction estimates, he directed the officials.
