Imphal, Jan. 14 -- Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday attended the 10th Armed Forces Veterans' Day 2026 held at the Palace Auditorium, MSFDS, Imphal. The Governor felicitated 53 distinguished and gallantry award-winning veterans as well as Veer Naris, acknowledging their exemplary service, courage, and lifelong contribution to the nation.
The Governor highlighted the unwavering dedication of the armed forces and emphasised the nation's enduring gratitude to its veterans, ex-servicemen, and their families. He noted that Veterans' Day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made to uphold India's sovereignty, unity, and democratic values.
