Hyderabad, March 11 -- General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), said the Indian Army is moving towards a new era marked by technological capability, organisational agility and self-reliance, as it adapts to an evolving security environment.
Addressing officers of the 21st Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC-21), faculty and staff during his visit to the College of Defence Management (CDM) in Secunderabad on Tuesday, the Army Chief stressed that future conflicts would require integrated multi-domain operations, data-centric warfare and the effective use of unmanned systems.
He noted that the Indian Army was shifting from a reactive approach to a proactive deterrence posture, drawing lessons from Operation Sindoor.
