Srinagar, Jan. 30 -- The Indian Army fired warning shots Thursday night after several Pakistani drones were reportedly spotted flying close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, official sources said on Friday.
They said the drones were spotted in the Keran sector flying very close to the LoC, following which Indian Army fired some warning shots.
"Following the warning shots, the drones went back," said a source. The Keran sector is strategically sensitive due to its proximity to traditional infiltration routes used by terrorists over the years.
Defence sources have not officially said anything on the incident.
