Srinagar, Jan. 14 -- The Indian Army on Wednesday observed the 10th Defence Forces Veterans Day across the Kashmir Valley, organising a series of events and welfare initiatives to honour former servicemen and their families.

Spearheaded by the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps and executed by formations including the Dagger Division, Vajr Division, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo) and the Jammu & Kashmir Light Infantry (JAKLI) Regimental Centre, the celebrations focused on felicitating Veterans, Veer Naris and Veer Matas and addressing their welfare concerns with dignity and care.
