Bhubaneswar, March 28 -- Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi, who arrived in Odisha on Thursday evening for a three-day visit, offered prayers at the sacred Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on Saturday, seeking blessings for the Indian Army.

Accompanied by his wife, Sunita Dwivedi, the Army Chief reached the Lion's Gate of the 12th-century shrine in the holy city of Puri in the morning. He had arrived from Bhubaneswar, where he spent the previous night at the 120 Battalion campus.
