Giridih, Feb. 8 -- Giridih Police achieved a breakthrough in an anti-Naxal operation on Saturday, recovering a cache of arms and explosives from the foothills of Parasnath in Jharkhand. The joint team of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unearthed rifles, hand grenades, and other weapons that had been buried underground by Naxal operatives.
Addressing a press conference, Giridih Superintendent of Police Bimal Kumar and CRPF Commandant Sunil Dutt Tripathi stated that the operation was launched based on specific intelligence inputs. A coordinated action plan was prepared to conduct a joint offensive against Naxal elements in the region.
