Buenos Aires, April 10 -- Argentina will finalize its FIFA World Cup preparations with friendlies against Honduras and Iceland, the Argentine Football Association (AFA) said.

The reigning world champion will meet Honduras in College Station, Texas, on June 6 andIceland in Auburn, Alabama, three days later.

"In this way, the team led by Lionel Scaloni will continue its final preparations to defend the title, after winning the 2022 World Cup," the AFA said on Thursday.

The World Cup will be played in the United States, Mexico and Canada from June 11 to July 19.
