Darbhanga, April 13 -- Taking strong cognizance of the construction activities in three historic ponds of Darbhanga Digghi, Harahi, and Ganga Sagar undertaken as a beautification drive, the Supreme Court Monday issued notices to the Bihar government and other state agencies to reply on the matter.
Talab bachao campaign convenor Narayan Ji Choudhary, informing about the court''s notice said here that a division bench of the apex court of Justices Vikram Nath and Sandeep Mehta issued separate notices to the Bihar government and other state agencies asking them to reply on the matter by May 2.
