Vontimitta (Kadapa Dist), April 5 -- The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple concluded on a grand note on Saturday with the sacred Chakrasnanam performed in the temple tank (Pushkarini) near the shrine.
Devotees in large numbers witnessed the ritual and took holy dips, marking the culmination of the festivities at Vontimitta in Kadapa district.
The day began early at 4 AM with Suprabhatam, followed by temple purification rituals and worship.
At around 9:30 AM, the processional deities of Lord Sri Rama along with Sita and Lakshmana were taken in a procession in Tiruchi, while Sudarshana Chakrattalwar was taken in a palanquin to the Pushkarini.
