Paderu, Jan. 29 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh said on Thursday that the Haritha resort in the tribal dominated Araku valley will be modernized at an estimated cost of Rs 42.50 crore and the Borra caves nearby will be developed as well to enrich the experience of tourists entailing an investment of Rs 29.88 crore.

The Tourism minister was speaking after participating in the Araku Utsav 2026 accompanied by Tribal Welfare Minister Gummidi Sandyarani.

The Tourism Minister said that the number of rooms in Haritha Nivas would be increased to 60 from 40, of Mayuru resorts to 98 from 65 and the rooms of T Jangle Bells to 26 from 13. The Minister informed that the Borra caves would be developed under the Swadesh Darshan 2....
