Vijayawada, Jan. 28 -- Representatives of the Muslim United Forum submitted a memorandum to former Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday seeking his intervention to stop the Andhra Pradesh government from acquiring about 71.57 acres of Waqf land belonging to Anjuman Islamia at Chinakakani in Mangalagiri constituency, for an IT park project.
They urged him to intervene and exert pressure on the Chandrababu Naidu government to withdraw the move and protect the Waqf property.
