Kakinada, March 5 -- With two more victims succumbing to their injuries on Thursday, the death toll in the massive explosion in the firecracker manufacturing unit here has risen to 28.
Officials here said the two victims, MorthaSreenu (30) and Venkata Lakshmi (69), were undergoing treatment in the Government General Hospital here.
On February 28, a massive explosion took place in the Suryasri firecracker manufacturing unit at Vetlapalem village of Samarlakotmandal killing 20 people, most of them workers.
