Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Feb. 28 -- : At least ten workers were killed and several others injured a major explosion at a fireworks manufacturing unit at Vetlapalem, Samarlakota mandal in the district on Saturday.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu , who was on visit to Vizanagaram District, held a review with officials following an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit.
Officials briefed the CM, about the incident, including ongoing relief and rescue operations. Authorities reported that around 20 workers were present at the Fireworks unit at the time of the blast.
