Tirupati, Feb. 22 -- The Andhra Pradesh Government is importing the most advanced machinery from France for the food laboratory being established in Tirupati to detect any adulterated ingredients in the sacred Laddu prasadams offered to devotees at the Venkateshwara temple in the Tirumala hills.
Informing mediapersons here on Sunday, Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav said that in order to provide quality food and prasadam to the devotees at the famous hill shrine Tirumala, a food laboratory is being established in Tirumala at a cost of Rs 25 crore for which most advanced machinery is being imported from France.
