Eluru, March 10 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Water Resources Development Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu has made it clear that an action plan has been prepared to complete the irrigation projects in Rayalaseema and North Andhra, including the Polavaram project, being constructed across the river Godavari.
Minister Ramanaidu inspected the construction works of Polavaram project on Tuesday. The engineers of the project and the officials explained about the progress of the works.
Speaking to the media, the Minister said the construction of a new diaphragm wall has been completed 1,300 meters against the total length of 1372 meters. The construction of the diaphragm wall would be completed by the end of March 2026, the Minister revealed.
