Vijayawada, April 8 -- Swachha Andhra Corporation Chairman Kommareddy Pattabhiram announced the establishment of 107 Fresh Waste Processing Centres across 123 municipalities at a cost of Rs 528.65 crore, aiming to process 5,385 tonnes of waste daily and create a dump-yard-free Andhra Pradesh.
The agreements were signed in the presence of Corporation MD B. Anil Kumar Reddy and agency representatives. Speaking at a media conference, Pattabhirama highlighted the state government's commitment under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's leadership and Minister Narayana's oversight to transform waste into wealth.
