Vijayawada, May 3 -- Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar today instructed the officials concerned to take steps to avoid power disruptions and power shut downs amid summer demand, unseasonal rains and extreme heat.
Speaking during a teleconference with CMDs, he told the officials that there should not be power cuts officially or unofficially anywhere in the State. The Minister directed immediate restoration of any temporary glitches caused by rains or high temperatures, emphasizing advance public alerts and swift resolutions for technical issues.
