Bapatla, Nov. 29 -- The Andhra Pradesh government has so far purchased over 11 lakh metric tonnes of paddy produce from the farmers across the State.
Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar, accompanied by district Collector Dr.Vinod Kumar, inspected a paddy procurement centre at Nadimpalli village in Repalle Assembly constituency on Saturday.
Later, talking to the media, Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar mentioned that the Government has set a target of purchasing 51 lakh metric tonnes of paddy produce from the farmers during the kharif season and so far 11 lakh metric tonnes of paddy produce have been purchased.
