Guntur, Jan. 31 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu here today inaugurated the Mother and Child Care Centre at Guntur Government General Hospital (GGH).
The alumni of the GGH mobilised Rs 100 crore for the construction of the Kanuri-Zinkhana Mother and Child Care Centre, while the government spent Rs 27 crore on infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister praised the alumni who left the college four to five decades ago for remembering the college where they studied and established the Zinkhana organisation for extending support ever since with an aim that our society too should progress along with us.
