Vijayawada, April 15 -- The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved the allotment of 21.16 acres of land to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for setting up their facility in Visakhapatnam.
Minister for IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh has successfully piloted allotment of 21.16 acres of land for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Visakhapatnam.
The Cabinet meeting was held at the Secretariat here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Lokesh visited Tata House in October last year and made a strong pitch for TCS to set up a large development center in Andhra Pradesh. The TCS Company will invest Rs 1370 crore in this unit to create 12,000 jobs.
