Vijayawada, Jan. 28 -- The Andhra Pradesh cabinet, which met here at the secretariat in Amaravati near here on Wednesday chaired by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu approved the upgrade of the medical college in Piduguralla in Guntur district in a PPP mode.
The new medical college will have 100 MBBS seats and beds in the government hospital in Piduguralla will be increased to 420 from 330 as per the National Medical Commission norms. The Cabinet also approved 837 new posts for the medical college.
The Cabinet has permitted the APSIDC to take Rs 4,451 crore term loan from the HUDCP. The state cabinet also approved additional financial implications of Rs 4.49 crore in respect of the work "PIPHW - Package Construction of Navigation Tunnel ...
