Vijayawada, April 15 -- The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday approved the proposals made by the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) at its meeting held here on April 10.

The Cabinet which met at the State Secretariat here with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, in the chair, cleared the proposals made by the SIPB with regard to allotment of land to the companies, giving permissions, providing basic amenities and also formulating necessary guidelines for giving subsidies.

The SIPB till now has given its nod for Rs 4.62 lakh crore investments to create over 4.23 lakh jobs.
