Vijayawada, Sept. 22 -- Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, President of the YSRCP NTR District Doctors Wing, has demanded urgent action to save the 'NTR Vaidyaseva' scheme which he claimed is on the brink of collapse.
Empanelled hospitals have stopped services due to unpaid dues of over Rs 2,725 crore, admitted by the Health Minister himself, he claimed. This has caused severe suffering as many patients are being denied emergency surgeries and critical treatments, while government hospitals struggle with severe overcrowding and private hospitals remain too expensive for most, Mr. Radhakrishna Yadav regretted.
