Lucknow, Feb. 6 -- On the lines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendra and with an objective of providing affordable and quality animal medicines to livestock farmers, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced it would set up animal medicine centres in the state.
The pilot project of this scheme will be launched in Lucknow district.
Providing information in this regard, Dr Suresh Kumar, Chief Veterinary Officer, Lucknow, stated that one animal medicine centre will be established in each development block of the district, making animal medicines accessible to livestock farmers at affordable rates for their treatment.
