Chennai, Feb. 11 -- BJP's master poll strategist and union Home Minister Amit Shah will embark on a two-day electiontour to Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on February 13 and 14, marking a key phase in the saffron part's election campaign inTN and the adjoining union Territory of Puducherry which goes to the polls in two months' time.
The visit comes as all major political parties intensify their preparations ahead of the Assembly elections.
The BJP, aligned with the AIADMK and other regional allies, including PMK of Anbumani Faction, AMMK of TTV Dhinakaranand TMC of G K Vasan and other minor parties, is seeking to challenge the incumbent DMK government and position itselfas a credible alternative in the state's political landscape.
