New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- Amid ruckus by Opposition members, Lok Sabha today passed the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025 and the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill, 2025 by a voice vote after a brief discussion.
As the House reassembled at 2 pm, presiding officer Sandhya Ray called Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya to move the National Sports Governance Bill, 2025 and the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
Mandaviya said the National Sports Governance Bill is very important as it will create an international level sports ecosystem in India.
