Chandigarh, Nov. 17 -- Home Minister Amit Shah chaired the 32nd meeting of the Northern Zonal Council in Faridabad on Monday, even as the investigation into the Delhi blast continues.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini received the Home Minister on his arrival at Surajkund on Sunday, the venue of the high-level session.
Chief Ministers, Governors and senior security officials from six northern states and union territories are participating in the meeting which is expected to focus on internal security cooperation across the region. Officials said the agenda includes coordinated action on crimes against women and children and expediting investigations in rape cases.
