Bhubaneswar, Dec. 30 -- The grand finale of the International Odissi Dance Festival came alive as eminent guru and Kendra Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Aloka Kanungo delivered a mesmerizing performance of Rasaleela, bringing Jayadeva's divine poetry to life through her evocative Odissi dance.

Kanungo's recital, deeply rooted in classical aesthetics, captured Shri Radha's grace and profound viraha bhava, blending intricate expressions, poised stances, and rhythmic finesse.

Set to Raga Pahadi and Malika Tala, she performed the celebrated ashtapadi "Sakhi he Kesi Madana Mudaram", with music composed by Pandit Bhubaneswar Mahapatra and choreography inspired by the legendary Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
