Montevideo, March 22 -- Lyon midfielder Thiago Almada scored late as Argentina clinched a 1-0 away victory over Uruguay in their FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Almada received Julian Alvarez's pass and took a touch before curling a 25-yard drive into the far corner on Friday.
The visitor finished the match with only 10 men after Nico Gonzalez was shown a straight red card for a high challenge on Nahitan Nandez.
