Jammu, Oct. 2 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police's Crime Branch has chargesheeted a notorious woman fraudster along with her two accomplices for a major job scam involving Rs 50 lakh in Samba district.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Crime Branch Jammu, Benam Tosh, said the alleged fraudster from the Ramgarh area, by hatching a criminal conspiracy with her accomplices, allegedly duped innocent people of their hard-earned money on the pretext of providing government jobs.
The case was registered in 2024 against the accused woman and her accomplices -Dalip Singh of Gurha Brahmana, Bantalab, Jammu, and Subhash Chander of Ramgarh -- following a complaint from Bubal Kumar of Kot Bhalwal, Jammu.
