Prayagraj, Feb. 9 -- Hearing of a petition filed by former Sambhal ASP Anuj Choudhury in connection with a court order to file an FIR against him was inconclusive on Monday.
A petition filed by Anuj Chaudhary was heard today in the Allahabad High Court. The hearing will continue tomorrow.
The petition was heard by a single bench of Justice Samit Gopal.
The petitioner Anuj Choudhury has challenged the order issued by the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Chandausi, Sambhal district, under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The CJM court had ordered the registration of an FIR against then-Circle Officer and current Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anuj Chaudhary and several other police personnel.
