Hyderabad, Feb. 10 -- All arrangements have been completed for the smooth conduct of municipal and corporation elections across Telangana, scheduled to be held on Wednesday, February 11.
Polling will take place from 0700 to 1700 hours in 116 municipalities and seven municipal corporations across the state.
According to the Telangana State Election Commission (TSEC), elections cover 2,582 wards in municipalities, of which 12 wards have been declared unanimously elected, one ward has had polling adjourned, and voting will be held in the remaining 2,569 wards through 6,017 polling stations. A total of 10,719 candidates are contesting municipal ward elections.
