Buenos Aires, Dec. 21 -- Former Bayer Leverkusen forward Lucas Alario scored twice as Estudiantes recovered from a goal down to secure Argentina's Champions Trophy on Saturday with a 2-1 win over Platense.

Franco Zapiola put Platense ahead at Ciudad de Vicente Lopez stadium by sweeping home a first-time effort after Estudiantes failed to deal with Juan Ignacio Saborido's long throw-in.

Alario equalized in the 79th minute when he nodded in from point-blank range after Edwuin Cetre's cross was headed into the six-yard box by Fabricio Perez.
