Vrindavan, Feb. 13 -- Uttar Pradesh PCS officer Alankar Agnihotri, who had resigned as Bareilly City Magistrate in protest against the new UGC regulations, visited and prayed at the famous Banke Bihari Temple on Friday.

He announced to float a new political outfit Sanatan Sanskriti Party.

Upon arrival, priests welcomed him with a turban and garland and offered him prasad.

After the darshan, Alankar Agnihotri attended a programme organised under the banner of the Rashtriya Brahmin Seva Sangh. The program was held at the residence of the Sangh's national president, Anand Ballabh Goswami.
