Patna, Jan. 24 -- In an innovative approach to check growing trend of blindness in premature children, Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital has geared itself to launch statewide free screening of such children in Bihar using latest technology of opthalmology.
A two-day seminar was organised at Akhand Jyoti Eye Hospital in Mastichak of Saran district today, which was attended by opthalmologists of national and international fame, to discuss the issues of various ailments of eyes particularly in premature children that often lead to blindness if not treated as soon as after they were born.
