Baramati, Jan. 29 -- The last rites of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who died in a plane crash, will be performed with full state honors at the grounds of Vidya Pratishthan at 11 am.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and several senior leaders from the central and state governments arrived at Baramati to pay homage to the departed soul. Teams of police, along with the NDRF, have been deployed at Baramati and the Baramati airport for VVIP security.
