Mumbai, Feb. 2 -- Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) MP Sanjay Raut on Monday made a series of sensational remarks, claiming that the accidental death of former Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was "not a simple incident" and that several unanswered questions surrounding the aircraft crash make the case mysterious.

Talking to mediapersons, Raut alleged that Ajit Pawar had repeatedly stated he possessed files related to alleged corruption involving the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and had indicated his intention to expose them.
